It’s been an uncomfortable time for many as we navigate the Novel Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. With the Governor’s Executive Order banning gatherings of 100 people or more, along with the CDC and WHO recommending even smaller gatherings, we are helping our wedding clients identify alternative dates for their celebrations.
As a client first studio, In His Image Photography has been working with our clients to manage through the near term impact. Our current booked wedding dates and changes are shared on our Pricing (Investment) page. This helps clients & planners to know what dates are available. Although the length of the impact is unclear, thus far only our March, April and some May clients have rescheduled their activities, and have chosen alternative dates in August and September. We’ve also waived wedding rescheduling fees for these couples.
Although we are able to photograph smaller groups, the pandemic has impacted the mood of many. Photographic activities including engagement & bridal sessions, headshots, and family portrait sessions have all been impacted. Unfortunately, many sessions have been delayed or postponed.
Through all of this, In His Image Photography will remain diligent, adhering to best practices of hygiene, social interaction, and lawfulness. Here are some of the operational changes we’ve enacted:
- Consultations and most all other meetings will take place via our online conference room. This solution has been in use with clients who aren’t local to the Raleigh area. It has now become our default solution for consultations during this time.
- With the slow down of activity, our staffing has been reduced. However, our client’s product deliveries remain on schedule.
My family and I are leaning on faith knowing full well who knows the end from the beginning. It’s natural to want this all to go away. I’m there too. I also know we will get through this, together.
