I love when clients have unique photo session ideas! So when Natalie shared her idea to have their engagement session at her new home with Josh, I was elated. A cooking session has its rewards! When I arrived they were ready to go. Natalie donned her apron, the food was prepped with the butter at the perfect temperature. They were ready to make Josh’s kryptonite, the Marry Me Scone! Legend has it that it was this very recipe that lead Josh on bended knee.
While the scones cooled, Josh + Natalie changed attire and we headed outside for some photos. Natalie already knew she had plans for these photos: the wedding guest book!
It wouldn’t be a complete family portrait without Nola. As you can see, she couldn’t wait to make my acquaintance. She ran right up to me and licked my lens :) Yup, we’re friends now!
I have to admit, their scones were delicious. I came home and immediately told my wife about them. I later introduced my wife to Natalie and reminded her about the scones again! I love their creativity and their chemistry even the more. You’ll soon see more images from Josh + Natalie and their vintage vineyard wedding ceremony! In the meantime, if you have a great idea for a photo shoot, let’s talk!
