It was early April 2014 when Tirhonza reached out to me in preparation for her Nash Community College wedding day. It was the kind of note a photographer loves to receive. She indicated that she’s been following my work and wanted to have me photograph her wedding. Tirhonza was putting plans in place for her wedding in Rocky Mount a year in advance, which is pretty typical for us. I had a chance to meet her fiance Nathan during their engagement session which brought us all a great level of familiarity when the wedding day came along. Below are a few images from their amazing wedding day.
I ask every one of my couples for a review. In fact, share that ask during the wedding consultation long before their wedding day for two reasons:
- I want my couples to know in advance that reviews are important to me. My team and I don’t serve for a review, we serve well because your wedding day is important. We simply want you to know that we’ll ask for your shared experience later: no surprises.
- I want reviews that are honest. I want future couples to hear the experience of every wedding we photograph, not just from a few select clients who told us they were elated after the fact. As I share during the wedding consultation, it’s my responsibilities to serve you well during the entire process.
Well, Nathan + Tirhonza left us a review shortly after receiving their wedding images less than two weeks after their wedding day! You can read their review here.
Lastly, I started sharing several of these images on Instagram a few weeks ago. You may want to follow @InHisImagePhoto there for early wedding imagery as well!
