About the Separk Mansion
The Separk Mansion is a secluded, romantic wedding venue located 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte, N.C. The venue belongs to the York Chester Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Textile mogul Joseph Separk built the mansion for his family in 1919. Architects incorporated Italian renaissance revival architecture in the building’s design. The designers also included a large formal garden outside of the building.
Later, new owners decided to turn the mansion into a venue for matrimonial ceremonies and receptions. They renovated the building in 2012. Today, the Separk Mansion is one of the most popular wedding venues in the area.

The facility offers indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The mansion’s luxurious ballroom is an ideal place for an indoor wedding The spacious area can host up to 250 guests for a reception and 200 people for a plated dinner.
