If you’re looking for a spacious industrial wedding venue in the Triad, I encourage you to consider Loft at Plant Seven, previously Lofts at Union Square. This breathtaking venue with towering columns and floor to ceiling windows will create an elegant atmosphere for your guests and provides you with a setting for stunning wedding photos.
At In His Image Photography, we have the pleasure of photographing couples all over North Carolina. Part of the joy of our job is experiencing all the different North Carolina wedding venues in the area. But one location that catches our breath every time with its stunning simplicity is Loft at Plant Seven. Formerly the Lofts at Union Square, this space is known for its expansive windows and beautiful columns. When guests arrive at the warehouse exterior, it may catch them by surprise. But make no mistake, once they see the venue’s interior your wedding is sure to be one that stands out in their memory for years to come.
What to Expect from Loft at Plant Seven weddings
In this burgeoning area of town, guests and couples find themselves in a hotspot for creativity, industry, and collaboration. The feel of Plant Seven, in general, is very up-and-coming and the venue itself is bold and chic. When you select Loft at Plant Seven as your wedding venue, the Loft includes many stylish amenities along with their versatile space.
The venue holds 350 people seated at round tables. In addition, there are annex rooms available. Because there are multiple spaces, intimate weddings can also find their home at the Loft. Venue staff will help you determine how to maximize the use of the area according to the size of your guest list. This historic warehouse was built in the early 1900s and while it had many purposes over the years, first became a wedding venue in 2012.
Couples who wed here have the convenience of included furniture rentals from Loft at Plant Seven like round tables, banquet tables, mahogany chairs, lounge ottomans, drapery, cocktail tables, and adjustable lighting. The venue has updated dressing rooms for the bride and groom, a sound system, security, on-site and street parking, and an hour of rehearsal time. Rates vary depending on the time of year you book as well as the day of your wedding. Check out updated rates here, as well as a full list of amenities.
From a photographer’s perspective, you couldn’t ask for a better venue. The windows, columns, and exposed brick all provide amazing yet simple backgrounds for portraits of the couple, bridal portraits, and more. The industrial windows open up to a view of the High Point skyline in 360 degrees. The way the venue prepares the drapery for the ceremony space is elegant and romantic. Drapery softens the industrial space while keeping it modern, all while setting the stage for beautiful pictures of the couple and their guests to treasure for years to come.
