The Proximity Hotel is a prestigious, AAA Four-Diamond luxury venue located in Greensboro, N.C. This premier boutique hotel first opened its doors in 2007. It has an adjacent restaurant called the Print Works Bistro. The hotel owners named both places after Greensboro cotton mills.

The White Oak Room is the second-largest area at the hotel. It is perfect for medium-sized ceremonies up to 125 people or 96 for a sit-down dinner. The grand space received its name from Greensboro’s White Oak Plant, which housed one of the world’s biggest indigo dyeing and denim operations.
The 1,821 square-foot space has gigantic 11-foot ceilings. Couples can host a sophisticated cocktail mixer on its Social Lobby. Your party can separate the Social Lobby by using a cool glass wall with an automatic drape for more privacy.
The Latham Room is perfect for an intimate wedding of up to 40 people. This location draws its name from J.E. Latham, a prominent Greensboro broker. The 600-square-foot space is the smallest room at the Proximity Hotel. It can accommodate up to 40 guests for a reception or 24 for a sit-down dinner.
Couples will love this airy room’s 12-foot ceilings and nine-foot-tall windows. The area overlooks a tranquil, green garden. It has beautiful, natural lighting and a private entrance for guests. This place has excellent audiovisual capabilities and wall-mounted televisions.
Proximity Hotel Wedding Receptions
The Weaver Room is the Proximity Hotel’s largest, luxurious event space. This 2,600-square-foot area can accommodate up to 200 guests for a reception, and 150 people for a sit-down dinner. The premiere room can easily divide into a second, smaller space.
The impressive venue has 12-foot-high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can also enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on its palatial, outdoor terrace. This area opens up to an airy, well-lit room that offers views of the hotel’s lovely Bluebell Garden and 2.5 acres of greenery.
The Weaver Room comes equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art technology. It has a built-in screen that can broadcast HDTV and an LCD projector.
The Proximity Hotel named the luxurious, Revolution Room after Greensboro’s Revolution Mills. This stately place has an outdoor terrace where couples can enjoy some fresh air after the ceremony. The beautiful space is exceptional for medium-sized weddings. It has large, 9×9 windows that allow natural lighting to permeate its space.
The regal location comes with an LCD projector and projection screen. Your guests can also enjoy drinks from the room’s classy wet bar. This area is perfect for a medium-size sit-down dinner up to 72 guests.
