Board & Batten Events Wedding | Jordan + Brittany

Jordan + Brittany’s celebration was my first opportunity to photograph a Board & Batten Events Wedding. And it was everything that they wanted it to be!

Board & Batten Events Wedding Prep

I started the day in my typical fashion by arriving early at Board & Batten Events, greeting the venue staff and planning team, and then staging my photography gear. I quickly walk the property to identify unique photography opportunities before heading to the bridal chamber to photograph the bride’s details.

It may be because I’m a guy, but my team gives as much attention to the groom and his prep as we do to the bride. Many gentlemen are indeed cool without as much attention, but Jordan left no detail out on his wedding day.

We quickly transitioned to donning her gown once Brittany completed her hair and makeup. This style of gown is one of my favorites and fits her perfectly. The style complemented Brittany in every way

Most of my couples opt to make their “first looks” take place during the wedding ceremony. Jordan was a bit overwhelmed seeing his bride walking down the aisle.
