Have you ever created your own sunshine on a rainy day? That’s just what comes to mind as I look back over Tony + La’Quondra’s SkyView on Hay wedding photos. As weather had us quickly moving from our original plan A, to plan B, and then C, La’Quondra smiled, and then I smiled because this day was going to be beautiful regardless of forecast.
Fayetteville Wedding Photographer
We met in 2006 at Fayetteville State University, the circumstances aren’t clear, but Tony was very interested in dating and I turned him down. Three years later I was at the gym and his brother recognized me and gave me Tony’s number under the false impression Tony was eager to link up again. We went to dinner, played pool like we did in our college days, the rest is history.
Tony proposed at the same place we had our first date. I knew he had the ring, but didn’t notice he went back to the car to propose on that night. When he got down on one knee I was in disbelief and have no idea what he said, but I said, “YES!” It was late so not many people were around and it was the perfect intimate moment.
I didn’t see the venue until after it was paid for, I was a simple bride and mom did the work for me :)
A dear friend from college who just happens to be a graphic designer took the colors and ran. They symbolized everything we wanted the wedding to be: elegant, simple, classy.
Mom has always been a decorator, I am extremely blessed she took the wheel and the decor was beautiful. Damask and purple was not the first choice, but I am glad we went with it in the end, classic.
Very dear friends and amazing people all the way! I was very close with each at different stages of my life and they all have remained constant and loyal in our friendships.
Family coming together! My brothers, his brother and his cousin, plus a college friend who always thought we would end up together.

Simple winter elegance.
The most personal was “I’m Sure It’s You” from the first time I heard it, I knew that would lead me down the aisle to my future. The lyrics speak to how God has been a staple in our relationship and how we’re committed to being each others foundation for the rest of our lives.
In His Image Photography did a truly remarkable job, we went into overtime, but it was well worth it!
